In another thread,I mentioned a clunk sound from my front end in the 78 SA...
This is the condition of original front end bushings(upper/lower control arms, etc) after 29 years.......
After all new bushings,Idler arm etc...it is like driving a new vette...!!!
I did the same to my Pace Car this fall and it is like a new car! I agree if ruber will last another 25 years that is good with me plus it already rides hard enough and has enough squeaks and rattles!

Occasionally, upper A-Arm bolts can get loose with poly's...not everyone experiences this, but it happens...
Rich
This happened to me the other day,it was the lowers, bolt fell out and the shaft moved about an inch or I mean the a/arm moved, just got done doing a blast down the hiway and heard bolts and washers as I got off the hiway, soo I guess loctite is a good idea when running poly,
It's the first I heard of it.

Here is what I've learned...just hitting small bumps can work bolt loose...(not in every case). The poly is not as forgiving as rubber...I've personally seen two vettes where this has happened, and both were drivers side forward bolts...one of the vettes incurred damage to power steering system and was a real mess...
I'm not against poly's per se...but I'll never use them on control arms...
