what's this toggle switch for
I'm finally replacing the carpet in my '77. So far the job is going pretty smooth. I found a toggle switch attached to the driver side seatbelt mount that is the pivot for the shoulder strap. The pivot right behind the drivers head. The two wires going to it were not hooked up to anything. Does anyone know what this is for?

is it connected in any way to the receiver for the t-tops mounted in the door jam right next to it?? if so, it could have been added to cut off the alarm function of the receiver in some way.
