I know a few of you guys are in the middle of restorations or paint jobs so please help this gent out.

Bally, I can make a template for you from a 68 vert. Almost positive they are the same.

Bally, I was in the same boat as you when I got my car painted. I had to have one fender replace so I told them to do half the front end. When I got the car back the holes were not there for the nose emblem. I thought about sticking a C5 emblem on there. I have not done anything with it and I now like the clean look of the nose with no emblem. If you have no holes in the nose consider leaving it clean for a while and see if you like it. Now, if I were to install a nose emblem I believe I would go for the C6 nose emblem, I like its looks.
