TT, I've come to the conclusion the aftermarket stuff is far behind in quality compared to OEM parts. In the 70's & 80's it was the other way around.

Default a little on the other side

I have replaced all the rear bushing and and brake parts and am waiting for the front bushings to arrive and have had very good resaults working with patty even when I made a mistake in ordering. so so
I do agree that it takes a while to get your core charge back but it does get back to you and there parts are as good as it gets...........

here's another ttt for you

At least you noticed the problems and fix them.... I wonder how many customers simply bolt that stuff in place not even knowing that it doesn't fit .... scary thought

I tend to think something like this is isolated.

I saw this thread when it first came out and assumed it would have been dealt with. Just keeping an eye on this.

Default Vbp

Hello guys,

I am sorry for the thread. I sent Twin Turbo a private message in response to his message on March 8 asking him to call us. The response to this is not easy to type and I think it needs a tech discussion with Gary. He then emailed me and said he was in the Netherlands so I asked Gary to write something. I assumed that this was handled. That doesn't make it any better that Gary and Twin Turbo have not talked, but I will get something resolved. Twin Turbo, please give me your telephone number and I will have Gary call you. Sometimes these questions and answers are difficult to get into a written response. I am sure once you and Gary have a discussion, all can be resolved.

I do not have any installation experience, but as far as I know, all of our parts fit unless there are customized items we are not aware of. We try to respond to everyone as quickly as we can, but sometimes things get mixed up.

Best Regards,
Pattie

I never got a PM or email from Gary or anyone else.

I'll send you my phone #'s.

There are no mods done, except all VB&P stuff What I need isn't real difficult, I just need a replacement poly end because this one is crooked. The little modifications to make the ends fit the bearing assembly is a no brainer. Here's a better pic where you can see it's crooked and it needs shims on the side (which I assume would be the square ones supplied)

Nothing out of the ordinary here

Default New End

If all you need is a new end, then I will get one mailed to you right away. I am sorry, but I did send a pm for you to call and that is how I found out you are in the Netherlands.

What year is the Corvette? Our rods are usually black for C2/C3 and gold for later years, but I could be wrong. Also, I will need an address since these were purchased through Ecklers.

Send me an address and exactly which end it is and I will get one mailed to you air parcel post.

Best Regards,
Pattie

It's a 69, it can't be that it's for a later year or it must be packaged incorrectly as it came w/ the revised camber strut for the 63-79 differential. Have some smart struts on other vettes and they are indeed all black powdercoated (might I add that these are a lot nicer to look at!!)

Yes, I did receive your pm and sent a reply, somehow it must have gotten messed up, there recently was a problem here w/ PMs so maybe it just got lost.

I had already sent a PM w/ phone #, will send another w/ addy
Can you also include one of those square spacers? one of them is mis-stamped and has a double hole.

Also, here's a pic pointing out where the poly end needed to be trimmed, it's also here that the metal slightly rubs.

You can see where the "fork" is machined from the cfactory to provide a spot faced inside for the bushing, i't's here, where the machined surface ends where it doesn't fit.
Thanks,

Marck

I would not be surprised if Marck had a blown Checy BB in a Fiat.
