No doubt this Vette has set for a loooooooooooong time. THe right rear wheel is frozen to the hub. Any suggestions to remove. I have tried wacking it with 2x4, hammer to 2x4, applied rust solvent. Oh yea, applying jack under tire and lifting car. Hows that for lock tite
Thread the lugs on the studs just enough to keep the wheel from falling off and then lower the car to the ground. Rock/roll the vehicle as necessary to get the wheel to separate from the hub.

Just got off phone with Fellow Vette Friend, he suggested dang near the same thing, put lugs part way on, and drive up drive way. (He lives life more dangerously than most of us). My luck, half way up drive, tire will come off, rip off fender, hit tree, bounce back into cab, hit me in head. Wife may like that...

Then bounce off your head into the neighbour's Merc or Beema...
Success! After continued rust buster, I heated the center, sprayed cold buster on the wheel, still no luck. Put all wheels back on car, rocked car violently, no luck.
Got really mad, broke out my sawzall, less cut the freeking tire off this &*^%^ then I'll take a wedge and beat it off. (The reason I am taking wheels off is for new tires, these are maybe 20 years old and dry rotted). Put the sawzall on tire, hit the trigger, cut about 1 minute, deeper into tire the violent action of the saw along with everything else it came loose. Dang, I feel like I have had my butt kicked on this one!
