Robert Shaw - also sold under the Mr. Gasket name, it has a "fail safe" feature that locks the thermostat open in case it fails, instead of shut like lesser thermostats do. Try the Eckler's catalog, I am pretty sure that they have them.

There are some thermostats that are advertised to fail open. Since they start out closed, if it did not open, then it fails closed. I may have posted that before.
Anyway we tried one on a Mopar in the summer. When the weather turned cold, the Mopar ran cold. Checked the thermostat & it was locked open because as it warms up & opens enough the clips added to a normal looking thermostat catch it & hold it open. It was released & tested on a stove w/ the same result.
