I need to replace the passenger side seatbelt in my '69 (lap only). The prior owner was nice enough to pass along a new piece when I bought the car. The driver side was already in, but the passenger side is frozen in one position, so it is basically useless (frozen in a position where only a skinny, vertically challenged person -- gotta be PC -- can fit in it).
Now, I got the trim out around the door and peeled the carpet back. I can't see where I bolt in on the door side. I looked under the car and see a bolt/nut with some washers and am guessing they are the anchor. I have the Chilton's book, but it is useless.
Can anyone guide me through this? Do I have to pull the seat??

Thanks...Mark
Mark, you have to pull the seat, pull back the carpet, in the midle of the floor board a few inches in front of the rear bulkhead. Almost always very rusty, hit with PB blaster for a few days before tyring to loosen.
Rich -- thanks so much for the page from the assembly manual -- exactly what I needed. It is certainly more of a project than I had imagined when I said to myself yesterday, "Think I'll slap that seatbelt in today."

Your welcome...and Chuck is correct...I did mine the hard way...threading belt thru with heavy fishing line.....
