Default Muncie Rebuild

Anyone know who sells the parts for a 75 4speed rebuild. I searched the archives and they all pointed to 5speed.com, but it says under construction there.

If it's a '75 it should be the Borg-Warner Super T-10, yes?

Unless you're going to rebuild it yourself, any trans shop should be able to overhaul it for about $700 if you bring them the trans.

I just had the B-W in my '75 done at a local shop and that's what I paid, with a warranty.
Best,
Greg

I bought my rebuild from Corvette Central, and I bought the "how to video" from 5speeds. The rebuild went fairly smooth and is pretty striaght forward. I was also impressed that the kit form corvette central had alot of smaller parts in it that were'nt mentioned in the video.

Borg Warner has rounded bottom side cover with 9 bolts.

Muncie is flatish with 7 bolts

Help me with my rithmetic... assuming I could do the work myself (huge probably false assumption) how much would it cost in parts to do it myself vs how much would a full rebuild cost if I farmed it out?

I enjoy a project, but there are some things that will take me 10 hours to do poorly that a pro can do expertly in 2 hours, so it pays to pay!
