Default ** Moved threads **

There seems to be some concern regarding the amount of threads that are being moved from C3 General to C3 Technical/Performance, and Off Topic. I have responded to the questions being asked.

Is it my imagination, or are more threads being moved to other forums lately. I thought the C3 GeneralForum was like a brotherhood, and if we post something here even if it is just a little Vette related, shouldn't it stay here??
It is not you imagination numerous threads are being moved to their applicable sections

Threads that are posted in C3 General that are not tecnical in nature, will remain in C3 General.

Here are some examples of Technical questions that will be moved:

My battery is two months old and died, what could be causing that?
How do you remove or install a specific part?
How much RWHP could I expect to gain with the installations of headers?
My car is running rough lately and stalls when I shift into gear, what could be the problem?

Examples of C3 General :

Here's some pictures from our C3 gathering this weekend.
What is your favorit C3 color combo?
Thinking about new tires, any recommendations?
Just cleaned up my ride, pictures inside, etc.

Although generic in nature, they do offer some examples
NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN !!!
It is true that we have a new Moderator, IrishMac, but, I have been moving the majority of threads because they are posted in the wrong section, as described above.
A lot of unnecessary moving going on. Seems like someone is taking this way to serious and trying to define the various forums much to sharply. I believe this has caused members to have their sensitivity ***** turned way up with respect to where to post threads. Makes people nervous. We just need to cool out.
Incorrect, the moving is not unnecessary, nor, is it being taken too seriously.

I would ask that members not take this as a negative action, but, instead, just following the rules, and requiring the same posting protocol that we ask in the other generation sections.

C3 General and C3 Technical/Performance are two distinctive sections, and require specific type threads, as evidenced below, and demonstrated above.

C3 Tech/Performance
Internal Engine | External Engine | Tech Topics Only | Performance C3
C3 General
General C3 Discussion |

tech·ni·cal
1 a: having special and usually practical knowledge especially of a mechanical or scientific subject <a technical consultant> b: marked by or characteristic of specialization
There are curently 15 "moved threads" on the first 2 pages of the General forum. I read through all 15 and they are all Vette related.
Correct, they are all vette related, but, some are general comments/statements, and others are tecnical in nature, and therefore moved.

If the shared stories are C3 related, they can stay in C3 There is a C3 Tech/Performance section, and members need to use it, and check it, to address such issues. Other sections do this and we cannot allow one to have different standards.

All that needs to be done is for members to review both the C3 General and C3 Technical section to get past this issue. As I stated, most threads are not sent to OT, and therefore, you won't have to venture over there

I invite any member who wants to discuss it further to send me a PM or e-mail me at: corvette07vert@aol.com. Do not open another thread...thank you.
