1970 Flint Date Codes

Does anyone know the format for the engine date code for the Flint produced blocks for 1970. Ours looks like A 970. Did Flint use at two digit year code in 70?

What we really want to find out is if Flint used a 2 digit year...

Flint used a 1 digit year code so 1970 would be just 0.

Tonawanda who also built small blocks (but not for the Corvette) used a 2 digit year code so 1970 would be 70 at Tonawanda.

Everything I have read says the "V" (Flint) engines are one digit year casting dates, but just wanted to be sure, cause there seems to be exceptions to every rule...
