I would give it a shot, I used aircraft stripper on my 68 and had no issues. You just have to pay close attention to the time you leave it on the surface. Test it leaving it on for a very short time, and see how the finish comes off, adjust from there. I have stripped three Vettes so far and used liq stripper on everyone, no big deal unless you lose track of time and leave it on for too long. Good Luck
