Block Numbers for a 73
Hi, im new and would like to know if anyone knows any websites that will tell me the block numbers. I just bought a 1973 today. I looked today and it looked like the number 1970010 was on there. Does anyone know what that means. I looked up the vin and it is an original l82. Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot, Rob

The number 1970010 essentially tells you that the block is a Chevy 350. not much more.
The number that you're looking for is on the block pad on the front, passenger side of the block, right in front of the head.
