You, your friends, or family cannot make a distribution list of all your family and friends to share photos, information, etc.. but choose to let the WORLD know what you want to share with those folks? Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I think those things are personal and only those I choose to share them with should see them. Not criticizing My Space or anyone that uses it, I just don't get it, or see the point. JMHO.
Okay, but one does not need to injest cyanide to know that it is poison.
Whatever man. Think what you want, but it's a great forum to talk to people you haven't seen in years or meet new people. This girl I hadn't seen since second grade found me through Myspace and so have numerous high school friends. I had the best date of my life with a girl I met through MySpace.
I blocked it on my wireless after some old guy tried to hook up with my daughter at a concert. She would have sworn that he was a 16 yr old boy and her friend knew him. Luckly we were monitoring her activity. I'm sure it's a great place for 18 to 28 yr olds, but no place for minors.

I agree with that 100%. Parents, DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS USE MYSPACE!
i think if you're a guy its no big deal to be on myspace. Its just like anything else a little common sense goes a long way. As mentioned there is privacy settings, and as long as your not dumb and put personal contact information and stuff like that...then you should be fine. lastly yes...there's a reason the minimum selectable age is 18, becuase its meant for people 18 and over.
