81 Ashtray door sping?
I purchased a new shifter console and new ashtray door. I am having trouble remembering how and where the spring attaches. Can someone help me out? any pictures?

I don't have any pictures but it attaches on the right side of the door. You will have to have the side skirt off to hook the spring on. Install the door with the pins and look at the right side and you will see the two holes, one in the door and the other on the lower console is were the spring ends hook to.
