Default WOW!!! What a difference!!!

I just finished rebuilding the front and rear suspension on my 81'. All new poly bushings, shocks and rear composite spring. The ride is MUCH nicer. I can not get over how much smoother it rides.

Now I'm looking forward to this nice weather to get some miles put on it

Thanks for everyones help with getting me through this!!

Congrats on the improved ride. I upgraded my original bushings front & back last year with poly and had the same reaction the first time I drove my '81 afterwards.
Like you, I'm enjoying the good driving weather.

Couplea questions:

1) Shouldn't the poly bushings produce a rougher ride than OE?

2) What shocks did you go with?

Thanks in advance

The poly's gave it a firmer, tighter ride. I had a couple of bushings that were metal to metal. So just replacing those with anything helped a lot. I think the biggest improvment came from the rear spring.

Parts list:

VBP poly kit
VBP #330 spring
VBP KYB shocks all around

Wishing now I would have replaced the front springs Maybe in the fall??
