Is there any hid kit for the late c3? Aside from the non pop-up lights, is there any other way to improve the light output? I may just put in some new bulbs but would like to find a hid kit. Thanks all
I like the Delta H4 conversion bulbs at JCWhitney.
These with a relay harness would be a great upgrade.
I thought about HID ... too much $$ for a little purple tint.
Beware that most headlight conversion bulbs will require
the rear hole in the headlight cover to be opened up (cut/grind).
Not for the NCRS crowd, but perfect for ncrS.
Theres H4 conversions on ebay all the time. I just bought a set for my Cherokee, which had absolutely terrible headlights. I just installed them this weekend and havent had a chance to drive it at night yet but I can tell by looking at them when they're on, they're much brighter. They were cheap too, just be careful you dont pic some oddball colored bulbs, unless you're into that sort of thing.

You had me worried that my HIDs were only going to put out a LITTLE PURPLE TINT. Dont worry, your Wrong. We did a little test yesterday evening to see how bright they really are. You cannot look directly into the light unless you want to be blinded for awhile. The only way I could look at them direct was through the screen on my camera.
After putting them in the lenzes we'll be using, they directed the light away, you still couldnt look directly into the light though. http://s130.photobucket.com/albums/p...nt=HID1001.flv
Im sure regular Halogen H4 lights are brighter then stock, because I sell them, and for certain budgets they work great.
Again though, you can go HID for an even brighter light if you want to pay the difference.
