I have never found my "part" in that condition

You must REALLY need to get some if it's lookin like that.

Hmmm The only other things I can think of would be a floorboard, tank sticker or heatercore.

That pile of rust? Hmm...*I* would say what was left of your radiator support...

That's what the bottom of mine looks like, on a California only '74 Vette...

Come Fri, I'm making a trip to IMS to get tubing/angle iron to try to weld up a radiator support per my father's engineering instructions.
