Default wiper door removal

I'm trying to check the obvious spots around the windshield frame for damage, and need to remove the wiper door. I think theres two philips screws at the top and 8 or 10 small bolts at the bottom, thrue the firewall...is that correct? Doea any one have the procedure?

remove the wiper grill, screws are on the top, pull the wiper door in the open position, there are two bolts on each side to remove,(be careful not to lose the bushings) door comes off. If you remove the nuts that are located on the firewall the whole mechanism comes out. If you decide to do that keep track of where and how many spacers are in there, since they line everything up.

Free advice. Order the AIM for your year. AIMs contain wonderful stuff, including the attaching points for the wiper door.
