Someone asks about how vettes are called sharks....
someone answers...
someone argues with the answer...
the questioner is perplexed.. and asks again....
someone comes up with another answer...

Here we have a debate about the origins of the term shark, a discussion on the ammount of spiders you;ll eat in one lifetime and how the paint booth boys at GM broke into the offices and painted sharks on walls as a counterpoint to the original thread...

Of course, there's also the rumor that the Stingray car smells like dead fish. But that comes from the Cobra camp

Actually, I would have put my hopes on the Cheetah over the Vette at killing the Cobra. It was designed from the outset for that purpose.

The top pic is the original Mako Shark I that was first shown in '61 The Mako Shark II came out in '65 and it became the Manta Ray after some changes were made and it came out in '69...............
