Is this block worth buying?
I have an opportunity to buy a 4-bolt mid 70's 010 truck block. Never bored and factory crank is included though I'd probably just trash it. If I bought it, it would go in something other than the vette. Question is this - is it worth $125 for a future build? I'm thinking it would be a good foundation for a stroker. Summit's stroker kit is only $1,079.95. A little machine work on the block and I'm thinking I'll have a 383 short block for under $1,500. Any thoughts?

Great price at $125. Get it magnafluxed & cleaned...the shop will give you an evaluation of it 's integrity.
