Default headers

anyone here using the dynamax cyclone ceramic coated headers? and if sooo what do you yhink of them.

and if your not what do you think of them.

was just curious since they are reasonably priced. from the pics they look nice, and have good welds. seem to use the same tubbing thickness as the higher priced headers.

I have purchased them and plan to install them next week. They had a few manufacturing blemishes on a few of the tubes out of the box but nothing major. many people on this forum have them and responded to my similar post and all recommended them. I'm sure a few will chime in here. I will post pic's when my install is complete.

Good price, look decent, and helps keep the underhood temp down

I just put them on my Pace Car with 2.5 in exhaust w/ an H-pipe straight back to Magnaflow mufflers. Idle is good no resonating while cruising but sounds good when you get on it! The headers fit perfect!

My only criticism is that the finish isn't show quality, but that wasn't a high priority for me. Once they're in, you really can't see much of them.

Other than that,

well i have been looking at headers for sometime now, and would like to have the ceramic coat, not only for the look, but to help keep down the under hood temp, i have been tempted many times to order the dynamax cyclones, but i wasn't sure about them, only beacase the price was cheaper than anybody elses, you know the old saying (you get what you pay for) but their tubbing dimensions seemed to be the same as every body elses. would like to here from some more members before i commit to buying. thanks for the feed back.

I installed a set on my '77 a few yrs ago. Fit was perfect...easy install...and still looked new after a few yrs of attack from the midwest winters. If I didn't have sidepipes on my '72...it would be Dynomax coated again for me!

Get a set of these, you will not have any seal problems, many port sizes to choose from so make sure to get the ones that fit your heads exhaust port size. I did not have as much luck with their collector gasket so got a set of Summit copper collector gaskets.

I should have ordered them last month price went up $20.00 this month.thanx for tip on gaskets, i usually dont use the gaskets that come with some parts because of some past bad luck, save time and headache's buying a better gasket.
