Went to work on the wipers today. I had them bypassed with lectric unlimited jumper kit. They work on low and high.
I went to plug the pulse module back in to see if I could get the delay to work. When I pluged in the module I had no wipers. Replaced the jumpers and nothing. I am detting a clicking from the wiper motor. The washers work so I know the fuse is good. Last year I replaced the switch and motor. Any ideas? By the way its a 1979.
Sorry for taking so long to reply. Did you get your wipers working yet?
Since you have a jumper in place of the wiper controller module then the trouble must be the wiper motor or the wiper switch. With some wire you can test the wiper motor. Search for how to test a wiper motor. With a multmeter you can test the wiper switch and wiring.
No wipers are not working. Might be the motor. Check wiring diagram and found out the three wire connector on the motor has power and two grounds. Motor should run when grey or purple are grounded and doesnt. Will look into it more in the morning..thanks
Make sure that you have a good ground on the wiper motor. There should be black wire on the wiper motor cover that goes into the harness.Try hooking up another ground to the wiper motor.

Im thinking it must be the motor. I test the switch and it appears to be ok. Ran power to motor and grounded the upper and lower connectors on motor and nothing. I have a new motor ordered and we'll see what happens Tuesday...........
