Before, after will be a carbureted, gen IV iron block LS1.
nice,i always wondered how a new gen engine would run with a carb on it,carbs are faster at the track then injection. What you useing for fuel delivery? what compression is it? Bill

Haven't picked out a carb yet, compression is 10.1
Its a mixed bag lol I got a 2002 LS1 engine with a bad block I replaced with a gen IV 5.3 bored out to the LS1 specs and used the internals from the LS1.
So it is now a gen IV iron block LS1
Removed the old 350 a couple of weeks ago, I am now prepping the engine bay, I was looking at all the nice looking engine bays looking for some ideas.
Nothing fancy, but that's not what I'm going for. I want this thing to look/feel original (can't help the chrome VC's they were on the car when I got it) but I'll replace those with L82 VC's when I get some extra $. It's gone a real far way from when I first got the car
