Default part identification help

I pulled the old starter from my 72. Stamped on the starter motor is 1108761 5B 7 2 and underneath that is Delco-Remy USA. A couple of things I'm wondering. Is this an original starter for a 72? Is there a way to tell if this is for a 153 or a 168 tooth flywheel?

Thanks

My "Corvette by the Numbers" book has no listing for that part number. 72' SB should be 1108430 for auto and 1008418 for manual trannie. The 5B72 decodes as:
5=calander year of production (1975?)
B=Month of production (February)
The last 2 digits are suppose to be the day of the month are you sure it is 72?

I doubled checked the digits and all are accurate. I was cleaning off some more grease and grime and found a sticker. It was pretty faded and in bad shape but I'm pretty sure it says remanufactured and then the number 1876552. Looks like maybe this was a remanufactured replacement starter. If that's the case is their any point in me keeping the old starter? Should I just toss it since it doesn't look like the original.
