Default 1968 removing body

Can't seem to separate the body from the frame on the 68 coupe. Are the floor pans or seat belts bolted in or is it possible the body is rusted to the frame? Any suggestions on where to start prying (I hate to say that)

Removed:
8 body bolts
drive train with radiator
rear bumper, brackets and rear lower body panel
front bumper and lower radiator brackets

disconnected:
electrical grounds
emergency brake
steering column
brake lines

You also got the two bolts way up front? The instructions for my lift kit did state that some bodies might need a little "assistance" before they broke free. I found this to be true last weekend with my 68.

What lift system are you using? Are you able to lift any portion of the car? Need more info. Sounds like you have all necessary connections.

Common problem areas include ground strap at drivers side no.1 mount, electrical harness at rear (rear lights. antenna, etc.), battery cables at battery compartment.

The seat belts are bolted to the frame in the center. There is a cable strap connecting the belts to the frame that needs to be unbolted or the body will not come off.

Default 68 body off

Yes, I had removed the cable strap and all the body bolts (8) which include the two in the front.

Although I did forget the antenna the body does not budge a bit. I guess a solid piece of oak wedge could be used for assistance

Clutch linkage, Brake lines. The body does stick to the frame. You can use a jack on the rocker channels to break it loose. Then use the strap with hoist or lift. I used a HF 3 ton chain hoist for $60.00 and for the engine removal.
