Default T-Top is Bent

My passenger side T-Top is a little bent at the front towards the windshield whereby someone, I think, tried to pry it off. The effect is that I can see into my new interior from outside the car

The question is: Is it possible to bend the fiberglass back to its original position or is a new T-top the only way to go?

Fiberglass doesn't bend that much out of place and stay thay way, it breaks. Take the top apart and see if its cracked or what, you might be able to fix it. It could be warped which means its toast. Also look carefully at the top mounts, make sure the issue is not dammage to them.

under the front "tooth" that holds it in place see if there is a schim inder it and the body of the T-top, if there is take it out and see if that pulls it down anymore, the roof lining pops right off

Got a friend with a coupe? Try his/her top on your car. If the problem exists with a different top, the windshield frame is the culprit.

My passenger top suffers from a bowed high point in the front center too. I don't have the headliners in and never noticed I could see between the top and the windshield until after I changed the weatherstripping.

I've seen many, many windshield frames bulge from rust building underneath especially in the corners.

My 77 and My 75 Sold the 77 but they both had T-Tops that did not look the same when on One fit fine the other was 1/8 inch higher .I dont see how to adjust that unless you just put weight on the front, and bend it back down, the top fit fine it just looks higher on one side.

How do you keep the water out? Here are a couple of pics.

I try not to drive in the rain. My door glass is also really out of alignment. I tried for two weeks last year to fix that before I gave up.

My passenger top does look similar to yours. I tend to only use the tops when parking to lock the car up, so replacing it isn't really a high priority.

I wonder if you could put a heating pad and sandbags on there to "bend" it back down? Provided the windshield frame is not the real problem.
