How about this one. Too high also? Sorry to be such a pain. I don't know much about this generation. This is a second vette for my wife. Thanks again

Its a nice looking car, with low mileage, but the price looks too high in my opinion. One of the forum members was selling a 77 recently and was asking around $12.5. So this car at $16k seems to be priced too high.

The value also depends on how many vettes there are in your area. I am in California, and there seems to be an abundace of C3s for sale, so that helps keep the price in check. If this is the only vette in your area, then you have to consider if the price is worth it, or if you can wait, and start a long search looking for something cheaper.

Lots of folks dont like rubber bumpers and dont think they are worth anything. I paid $16,000 for my 79 5 years ago, with 14,000 miles on it. Have never regreted it either. Depends on what kind of condition the car is in. Not many usefull photos. Just because it is a 79 $16,000 may not be too much.............LT
