I've seen these on his car and they look great. Their not much brighter than a stock light. They WON’T blind anyone! They just have more overall coverage around the lens. Very sharp looking!

So I guess the "five times brighter" statement was a bit of a whopper?

If you have an incandescent bulb with no lens and a SpiderLite with no lens they are both bright, and the SpiderLite is brighter, and five times the illuminated surface area. With lenses, the SpiderLites are a LOT brighter, I think five times brighter, than stock incandescents.

Five times the surface area means nothing. Measure the Lumens.

Ok, so two people have looked at the same lights and one says "Their not much brighter than a stock light." The other person says "the SpiderLites are a LOT brighter, I think five times brighter, than stock incandescents."

I'm really starting to wonder about you boys from Mizzoo. Must be something in the water. Please set me straight if I'm missing something here. I'm trying to decide if I want to spend my $200 on tailight bulbs or an Innovate LM-1.

200 dollars in 4 light bulbs sounds like a winner

I'm just saying that Curt saw the bulbs next to incandescent bulbs with no lenses. An incandescent with no lens is VERY bright and WHITE, not red like the SpiderLite. If you cover them with a lens, the incandescent seems to take the biggest loss from the lens where the SpiderLite still shines bright.

The Innovate is a nice toy to have around when it comes to tuning your car. Several on here have them. I have one just have yet to plug it up and run it.

Let me ask a very honest question to some of you who seem to have an issue with DB and for some reason me now. Are any of you legal adults? I can’t understand why grown adults would make assumptions of people before they have any frame of reference. What we are talking about is common courtesy to others regardless of your opinion. I came to this site awhile back looking for advice and feedback and DB was very helpful. Unlike some who think that because they have been a member here longer than others they are entitled to say who is acceptable and who in not. I don’t spend a lot of time on this site, but from what I gather there are a select few who spend more time criticizing other members rather than giving solid support. I’ve spent the last five years putting my Corvette together and don’t want to brag, but it has turned out awesome. Thanks to those who helped and those who have nothing supportive to say, keep it to yourself because I could care less about your derogatory remarks. Creating a social separation amongst our fellow Corvette owners is not the intentions of these kinds of forums. Use the post for what they were intended for. Leave personal agendas aside!

Good advise Curtis. Many of the people (so called oldtimers) around here would be much better off if they walked more like they talk.

Thanks Bullshark!

I'm going to try and make it up there on the 6th. I have a show at Lake of the Ozarks on the 5th that I’m already committed to. If I can get out of there at a decent time on Saturday, I'll make to St Louis on Sunday! Wow, I might need to barrow a gas card from someone though…………
