A/C-Heater control won't sit straight
I am replacing most of the interior right now. I had the chrome-faced A/C control out of the shifter plate to clean and rebuild it. That went fine.
Now that I try to put it back into the shifter plate/shifter console, it wants to sit crooked and hang too low at the bottom and I can't make it straighten up. I assume that I missing something obvious, but I slept on it and tried two more times and still cannot figure it out.

Simple fix, the bracket was really bent up.
Should've bought a Honda, instead of this old thing.
