Unnecessary chrome to be painted black. Like the windshield chrome, door handles, and rocker moldings. Also some big wheels and nice brake rotors and calipers.
Keep the chrome bumpers
And maybe add the chrome gills
Basically this nails it

Mixed emotions. While I def. like that car, I think some of it should have stayed polished/chromed. Not sure quite what (can't put my finger on it). But, like I said, that's a good looking car in my opinion. I also just noticed (and maybe it's an optical illusion) that the front wheel looks bigger than the rear.
Very nice, but I must say, I love the chrome gill liners. I think they are a nice accent. Something to be said for this straight forward appearance though.
Sorry, I think that car looks like poo. They were perfect when they left the factory. Why screw them up. I absolutely hate those huge wheels on older cars. Looks stupid.

I totally agree. Why ruin a 70's style car by trying the "monochrome/all one color" look of the 80's? And the big wheels just send the car to the trailer park.
Really, get a C4 or even a C5 to try to "modernize." I don't understand the purpose of owning a vintage car, and then ruining the appearance. Why bother?

I like it fine, only thing is I would put the chrome gills back in to highlight that feature.
