I love the C3 but I'd also love to have a C6. I would agree with the statement that some people who own C6's own more than one. I personally know someone who has a C6 because he gets a new one every few years, but also owns a 54, fuelie 57, and an 66 that he bought in 67.
I have both C3 and C6 and love both. I've been less than impressed by the C6 ... until I had it at the track. WOW!! although I didn't like the abs getting in there. all other nannies were off but couldn't turn the abs off. The looks I think are reminiscent of many gens. The body profile = c5, front fenders = c3, rear window=c2. Really though, love all vettes
this thread and one about another forum makes me think that C3 guys are a much cooler group. In C6 all you get is floormats, Z-51 stickers, rims and the inevitable "going for 7,000,000 rwhp" thread even though it's never been raced. Here it seems more like sitting around the garage bs'ing with a brew and yes you get the inevitable know-it-all who can't stop giving bad advice. comes with the territory.
we all have had cars in past which we wish we still had and never sold.
i have a 81 4sp with new eng.[383] new eveything, this is a car i know i would regret selling, they just don,t make such a raw drive train,
manual linkage [hurst], non-hydrolic clutch [centerforce df], anymore. theres a feel to that i enjoy. that being said, I can,t find anything i don,t like about the c6,
i want one. but not at the expence of giving up the c3.
eventualy I'll have both.
