Light gray. I used a hammer tone gray to help the looks.

69 has a hint of green hue to it.

Most people use Argent Silver, paint code of DAR 8568.
But, the 1983 Maserati Smoky Quartz Metallic BC/CC will be closer.
Check www.oempaints.com or ask local paint store to mix it for you.

I just did mine with Argent Silver:

Here's original paint, before resto:

Nice work. Your wheels look great. I did the same thing and I just used whatever paint that Autozone sells that is for ralley wheels. I scuffed the surface of the front and back with scotch brite and it turned out great. Paint the rear of the wheel first and then the front. That way any overspray is on the back of the wheel and is no problem.

So it is argent silver/green....Just like my 70.I have purchased the correct aerosol can from OEM paints and will do the same.I've got the old can at home if anybody needs the info or number off it.
Thx
Jim
P.S...is the rear black that glossy or more flat?

The back is semi-gloss black, for originality, paint the backs first then the fronts, allow some overspray over the black, and wheel weights on the inside.

Yup,exactly.It 's a nice job when done.
I picked up the correct paint..Silver-Argent Green from OEM paints...the stuff is now 35 bucks a can.The semi-gloss black just a basic generic brand.
