Default headlight electric conversion

hey i know this thread is a bit old, but has anyone tried this kit?

http://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corve...1968-1982.html

if so, just curious how successful everyone has been with it?

Also, what would this do to the value of the car?

SAVE YOUR MONEY

Here's a cheaper better way to do it at a fraction of the cost.

Did mine from scratch. 95 probe motors used off ebay. Stock headlight switch, no controller, probe motors have 180deg limit switches. They work like a charm. Filed a notch for the actuator rod...

I did my headlight doors for about a hundred, wiper door about 50! Check the "mega thread" John 65 posted.

Shout out to Richard454 for his kit. I got less than 200.00 into mine and they work great. Now to finish up the WW door I am working on. Thanks again Richard454!

Same here. Works great, well built, and cheaper than off the shelf systems. I have installed Richards kit on 2 C3s now and not a single issue. Highly recommend it.

Couldn't agree more. I finished the install with Richard's kit last night. Incredibly simple process, very well thought out design. Can't go wrong there.
