Cracking round the headlights

Cracking round the headlights
I had the vette fully rebuilt 2 years ago now, not a cheap job but a no holds barred rebuild. I have noticed a couple of small cracks appearing round on of the headlight slots. I know they are prone for this but should I expect this so soon?

Graeme, what a bummer! After such a short period of time as well. With the amount of money invested, no way should you be seeing cracks. Hope its not a sign of an underlying problem with the front end.
Do you have any pics so the more knowledgeable may be able to help more?

I've got them and it seems every time I drive the vette they show up more or another one appears! I know there was some bodywork done (not very good) which is why I have them. One day after the kids are finished with college I'll spend time and $$$ and fix it right.
Sucks only two years on yours though.

I will try and get my son to get photo's of the cracking at the weekend, since I am in Moscow for the next few weeks. They did a huge amount of work on the front end as you can see from the photo's below and I would have thought that since all vette's are prone to this some additional reinforcing would have been put in. Maybe it was and the stress cracks are still inevatible, I dont know hence the reason for asking the forum guys.
