Default Help, which Headers?

Ok, I need some help deciding on which full length headers to get for my '69 vert. The car already has the stainless chambered exhaust on it and sounds pretty good. I'm looking for somethnig that is quality that will last and get it a little bit louder. I dont want a set that will have the exterior start flaking off in 6 months. I'm looking to spend $300-$500. Any help would greatly be appreciated! Pics also help too!!

Default Headers

I installed a set of Hedman Elite ceramic coated headers last summer. So far, good results - coating stilll Looks new. Sound is a little louder, but I also changed exhaust system, so it's hard to compare. I picked Hedman based on recomendations for strength in mouting flange, and tube wall, as well as coating. They're less than $300 from Summit.

Cool I'll have to check them out! I forgot to mention my car is a 350cu in/350hp also. Putting in Steeroids soon (ordered and its on a Fedex truck right now) just in case anyone knows of any clearance issues with headers and that stuff.

Lots of discussions here have gone on about headers. Everyone has different experiences and opinions.

For me...I like Sanderson Headers. They have the thickest flnges I've seen on any make...they won't leak or allow the bolts to back off. Outstanding quality. Look them over as well.

Before moving on to the Hooker sidemounts, had a set of Hedman ceramics. Very good pipes.

How about this set of hedman headers from summit:

I just want to make sure I wont have any clearance issues, which I dont think I will and that they will last and look decent for a while. What do you guys think?

Can't help with the steeroids clearance, but I didn't have any clearance problems at all. I used Hedman alternator and A/C brackets, and wrapped the starter motor with a heat blanket "just in case", but everything else went well.

Do you think this bracket assembly will work with Hedman headers? My car doesn't have power steering either btw.

I decided to go with the Hedman Ceramic long tube headers, for you guys using these do I have to change plugs to angle plugs? Also which type of wires are you running for these (i.e. which angle etc.)? I intend to run them over the headers. Thanks!
