NACA Ducts Breathing
I finally decided to actually open the hood ducts after thinking about it for a while. I couldn't find any screens that I thought would look good.
In the middle of drilling the holes I looked over at an old air filter that I never used and the idea for the screens was born.
It been raining since so I can't tell any difference in temp yet, but on the short trip I did get in I could feel the heat escaping through the screens when parked.
This might not seem like a lot to some of you, but to me it was a huge decision to risk cutting into my hood.
I just wanted to share my excitement as my wife sometimes just can't understand why this brings me so much happiness...If you don't know I can't explain it...
Here are some before and after, that is fiberglass dust on the hood...
