Default Performer series intakes
Hi guys,

I'm considering buying the Edelbrock performer 454-O heads and matching intake for my 73 454. I understand, I will not be able to close the hood with the stock air breather, but was wondering if any of you have had any luck using this set-up with a drop based air breather.

Not a good fit for BB. Torker II fits & good for over 500HP.

I have a 71 BB with stock hood and Performer with drop base air cleaner works great no problems.( tight fit but doent hit hood)

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to need to run the EGR system which eliminates the Torker 2. I think my choices are stock or performer.
