wanting to replace the seals.
Once you get those out, the lip seal pulls out like any other.
The trouble I see is in the pinion. The pinion has a crush collar that
sets the bearing clearance. You really don't want to remove the pinion unless
you plan to have the pinion bearing set-up again.
I have heard of people marking the nut location to replace the
nut to the same position, but not sure how safe this is.
Gary (GTR1999) can probably enlighten us to this.
