Those are specific for a C3. Some guys have used the heat shields available for Cobras and modified them to fit.

BankokDean is the owner of that C3 product. Good guy.

I have these on my 78'. I'm very happy with them. No more burned legs.

I think these covers have heaps of style & class and are excellent value for money....I paid more for the cheesy factory fibreglass repros.....I like the Stingray w/crossed flags and the Cobra snakeskin ones the best....

Don't bother looking for anything else.....time is money

Buy them ASAP. My sons girlfriend got a bad burn from mine then about a month later my wife got burned and she knew about the HOT pipes. Shortly after that I bought the shields, should have done it a couple years ago. At the time, the Cobra stuff was all I could find. They serve the purpose well.

I almost bought a 68 from a guy which had brand new hooker side exhaust. Unfortunately the only good thing on the car was the exhaust.

Anyway, he installed some chrome heat sheilds from tractor trailer exhaust stacks. They fit and looked pretty good. He said they were cheap. Unfortunately I don't have any more details. I do have some pictures, but have been too lazy so far, to figure out how to post them. If anyone wants a pic send me a pm with your email address.

I like the look of the 69' shields...and I was thinking...Hooker side exhaust has been available, to vettes, 30 something years...I find it hard to believe no one has yet to design a shield that 'looks' like the original and fit Hooker side exhaust (or any 4" sidepipe).
