I have an additional cooling fan on my radiator. It can be swiched on with an additional swicht in the mid console. I want to automate this fan with a sensor on the radiator.
Who knows a kit with a thermostat and a adjustable "switch on" used for this purpose. Please send me the link.
That fan is just a helper fan for driving in heavy traffic moving slow. It doesn't move a lot of air. Thats a pretty expensive controller, I have one but its going to be running a dual 12" electric fan setup.
What year? 79 and 80 L-82 cars, and all 81-82 models have factory electric auxilary fans. An additional temp switch is installed in the RH head and powers the auxilary fan when temps rise to the specificed level. Get the 80-82 AIM and take a look at the installation.
