What do you guys think of this Protect-A-top from mid america? I like to drive without my tops but i do not have room in the back (i have a 12 inch sub ) and i was seeing if anyone has used this and what they thought. here is a link to mid america
I have the one from Ecklers which seems to be fine for its intended use. I have had the car up to around 75 and it did not blow off but it did have a lot of air leaks. All I wanted was an emergency rain cover and its fine for that but as far as secure like from theft or intrusion? Might as well save your money.

I'm sorry, but there is no way that thing would stay on at 75 mph!!!
Well, if you get up this way let me know and I will take you for a ride. I ran it down the interstate about 15 miles at that speed and it didn't come off.

How easy is the Rain coat to install? Also does it have to have securing points left on that interfere with the T-tops later?
It's easy Dean, it attaches to the oem t-top mounts and has 2 velcro straps that fasten around the center bar. It comes with self adhesive velcro sealing strips for the front and rear that take about 10 minutes to install.
