The price looks good but the 90w RMS rating is for 2ohms. The component speakers I'm getting are rated at 4 ohms. That would mean I'll be getting only 60w RMS with the Kenwood amp.

What speakers are you using that actually need 100 watts RMS? I know of very few that aren't subs.
Also, you can wire the speakers as pairs in parallel and lower the impedance to 2 OHMs.
I think the RMS rating of 200w on the Niche speakers should be halved which makes them 100w x 2.
The Hifonics nominal power rating is 100 so I believe that only gives us about 50 RMS x 2.

If ya want the best sounding speakers and amp system here's what ya go with.
Go to your nearest JL Audio supplier they have one of the best and the prices are not sky high. JL also make TMA amps which are great for the money what they are is old model year amps from JL.
I have JL audio speakers in my 2004 truck and what a fricken difference!!!!
I tried some sony's in it first but then I tried the JL's and I was blown away on how great they sound.

Both of those are great. You understand that those kinds of speakers are usually lumped in with competition stuff right? That's fine and all but I really doubt you're gonna find a new 4 channel amp with more 100 or more watts RMS per channel at 2 OHM for $150. Those kinds of amps come in at double that, and paying less for a generic amp will gain you nothing. Chances are it'll start clipping before the speaker is even at half performance and you'll tear up your coils.

I've used JL equipment in several installs. Great stuff.
I have some older JBL amps, Infinity Kappa (green quartz cone) 5.25" and 4" component sets, and an 8" Rockford Fosgate Punch DVC sub for the 77. I have a 12" Infinity Kappa sub in a small sealed box that I love, but it's way too much sub for the car.
