Help. Identify this part (heater core)
This is located on top of the heater core box mounted in the passenger compartment, on the passenger side. It looks like it has a spring that compresses a little post. I don't know if I broke it, or what it does. It looks like all of the little hoses and parts are either broken or rusted. If I need a new part, where do I find it. Also, what is a good reference to hooking all of this heater core stuff back up. The car is a '77 (late) with A/C.

Turns the water off on AC cars. It's about in the middle of the page toward the top, they call it a switch-water shut-off valve. Your AC must not be hooked up. You need to buy the AIM to get the hookup, that's what the image below is from.

Thanks, I have the AIM, but mine is from Corvette Central, and that page does not look familiar. Ill check again when I get home.
