Default Starting Them Young

Here are a few pictures of my 3 yr. old granddaughter sitting in my '81' corvette. She loves going for rides in it, specially with the T-Tops off since she can put her hand out and feel the breeze going through her fingers . Something tells me when she grows up she'll have one of her own .

Yeah, my Uncle owned a 60, 64, and a 67 when I was about ten. I finally got my own after 40 yrs. and worth the wait . I was hooked after taking rides in his vettes when I was little too.

My youngest started driving at 4. He's now 7 and has been driving this particular machine for a year now. At 2+ Gs these are a thrill (mine is a bit bigger, but his corners as well or better).

My 5 year old just about jumped out the window to the parking lot at day care the other day when she saw me pull up in the Vette. She was telling all her friends, "My daddy drove the Corvette, and we are going on a date". My other 8 year old daughter loves it too.

I love it when my 2 year old points at the vette and says "daddy's car" and makes "vroom vroom" sounds.

The best way to get them hooked. I was 9 when I first got into Corvettes.

Good job! What a cutie and what pretty blue eye's.

I can't think of anything better than "infecting" a new generation with a love of these cars.
My daughter was a teenager when I traded in my 1992 mustang convertible on my 2003 50th AE vert. She was furious with me....until I brought the car home (bought it new but 300 miles from home), then all was forgiven. Now she is planning on inheriting all my cars whether my son likes that idea or not!

My best friend had a Vette just like yors in High School when we were seniors in 85. To be honest I did not think the color was that great back then, but now I thing it is a very classy looking combination. I guess my taste gets better with age!

Her parents "suprised" her one day and traded for a Nissan Pulsar ( the door stop looking ones) for her to go to college in. They thought she would be happy but she was pissed off! I stll send her pics like yours when I find them for sell since she would like to have another one.

Any way here is my daughter whe she was 2 and I just got my car.

This is one we bought for my brother in law.

This was on her 3rd birthday and she got her 1st Vette and parked it next to Daddy's.

She turned 4 today and has the "Vette Fever" I put her car seat in and we go to shows and drive in's. She loves it and so do I!

Here's my little guy wearing a shirt my wife had made from a picture of my car...

He's only 17 months old now so hasn't had a chance to ride in the car with me but he always points to it and says "Car!". I'm trying to correct that by saying "Corvette".

Very cool! I have pics of my now 3 year old daughter in the Vette and am working on pics with my son (15 mos). Here's a summary of a conversation my daughter and I had yesterday:

Dad (me): Don't go near the street, those cars are moving fast.
Daughter: Oh, I won't. But I can move fast.
Dad: Yes, but cars can move faster than you.
Daughter: Yes, but Daddy, your Corvette is faster than those cars.

Priceless!
