I looked into it as they will officialy end it here in Little Rock but the close to $70 for registration ran me off. I figure I would spend $70 just to be able to park my car at the fair grounds or I could just park the mini-van outside and walk in for free. Seemed like a no-brainer there. The Power Tour will be officaly over on Saturday. That day at the fairgrounds is just for the long haulers - not open to the public.
BTW - there will be a FREE "Cruisapalooza" on Saturday to the river market district in Little Rock for those that want to participate. It leaves the Fairgrounds at about 2:00 on Saturday and heads down town. I will probably do that one. I might bring the Vette but the Camaro is currently running so who knows.

Another year, another broken promise!
After doing the "Long Haul" in 2004 Dallas to Green Bay, I promised myself I'd do the next one. Well the wife had a mild heart attack the end of May 2005, so I skipped '05.
In '06 I promised myself I'd do it for sure, since it started here in Orlando, Florida. I broke the 2 pistons on day one and had to be towed home. Another promise was broken.
I then told the wife to take two weeks off in June, 2007, cause we were doing the Long Haul together.
Most of you now know about the broken lifters and destroyed cam this month.
Yet another promise broken!
I hope you guys have a great time. Do a burn out for me, won't you!

I was going to but I see they are running all interstate 65 mph form Cleveland to Detroit. I was hopping they would run a nice 2 lane 55 mph go through some small towns and give everyone a chance to see the cars. I will be in Cleveland for the day before start to see everything.
I'm not doing a power tour until they stop doing it exclusively in the east...we got roads out here too!! and the pot holes are smaller than those in Arkansas

There was a thread earlier about this. Anyway, about 25 cars from our club are driving to Memphis, Thursday, and drive back to Little Rock, with them.

I'm long hauling it in the 69 this year with 4 other guys. (i'm the only Vette in the group) Skipped last year and long hauled the 05 tour in the Camaro.
Did a partial haul in the Camaro in 04.
Say hi if you see me!
Don't worry fauxrs2...it's heading your way. It had to cover the country. I ear next year it's frpm Little Rock to AZ. I'm sure from there it will work it's way into Ca.
Scootin Z I hope to meet you. I put the new rear end in and we are good to go. What part of Chicago do you live. I am in Mundelein.
My whole group is from the Mundelein Area. I am further west (Hampshire) so we'll be meeting for breakfast Friday Morning off 294 & Ogden. I think there will be 5 others there as well.(10 cars total) and then were all heading to Cleveland.
PM me if you can make it and are going to Cleveland?
Otherwise, keep an eye open for my car and say hello.
If your not long hauling, what cities are you going to be in?
(no longer has the Firestone's...BFG's now)
