Default rear end clink

I have a 76 that I've changed rear wheel bearings,all bearings in differential, half shaft U-joints, and yet I have a clinking- clicking sound while I take off (under torque). I'm at witts end can anybody advise?

Have you added the gm lube 4OZ. bottle takes two of them . your cluthes are grabbing and need to slip more use the additive and go around in circle about 20 times your problem might go away a after you do this if you have already added the additive chance are you need gtr999 .the rear end specialist.

thanks But I found out it was loose left rear wheel bearings

Rebuilt rear bearing should never be loose. I would check them very carefully and be sure they are torqued to 100 ft/lbs or you may be in for more then noise. endplay should be .0015-.002 no more/less

Thanks my book says .001 to .008 Ive cleared it up almost, now when it gets hot it does it once and a while. The tolerances you've given are much tighter that would explain a lot. Thanks again
