Default It's funny how things work

It's funny how things work. On Friday I decided to finally change my door locks so I could actually lock my doors and get back in. Started on the drivers door. Everything went wrong. Things were breaking, falling, getting stuck, the clip wouldn't come off, then it wouldn't go on, etc. It took 3.5 hr to do the drivers side. I was so frusterated I called it quits when i was done that one. Saturday morning I decided to attempt the passanger side. No problems, not even one. Took only 1/2 hr. I was so much happier. but it is funny how one door took 3.5 hrs and the other only took 0.5 hr. BTW, anyone ever change an ignition cyclender, how long will it take if I have a bad day again?

I had the same problem. One door took longer, but only because I'm right handed and my approach angles were different from door to door.

It just shows you how much you learned from the first one you did, and how you applied that learning to the second door

You know you all have some truth. I definetly learned from the first one. And The angles were opposite, but the passanger side still went smoother without any problems. But hey maybe I just learned really fast what not to do!

A common repair on C4s is the bushing in the moveable headlights. Parts cost is almost nothing. Mine went bad on my 91 so I got the bushings and changed them out. The first side took me 2 hours. The second side took me 45 minutes.

I have found this to be true on most everything I do on these cars.

Every time I've done a full brake job on a car it takes 6 hours. 4 hours for the first brake, and two for the last 3. Without fail.
