Austin chromer recommendation?
I've got the week off before I start a new job next Monday!
So I'm going to tackle the side pipes project which I purchased supplies for way back in October.
I'll be wanting to chrome them eventually, so anyone know of a good chromer here in Austin?
Also...my sub-par welding requires a lot of grinding... will the chrome come out bad if the metal isn't completely smooth?

Mike, Talk to David at Cen-Tex plating on St. Elmo road (in Austin). He will let you know how to finish the welds to take plating. You need to ask for "Show-chrome", otherwise you get production work and quality. G/L
