I can't decide between the fully polished look (both face & rim)
Or this look with the Satin finished face & polished rim
I like the idea of a more highly polised lip/rim and more subtle face (5 spokes) but then the other wheel being all polised has my attention also.
btw...rim & tire sizes will be
Front 17x8 with 4" BS 245/45/17
Rear 18x10 with 5.5" BS 275/40/18 (this wheel only weighs 22lbs in this size so I am not adding unsprung weight unlike some of the heavier cast wheels that decrease performance although they do look good and you can't beat them for the price if perfomance is not a high priority)
everybody has chrome wheels...even SUV's these days...be different!
Also think the texture of satin finish face will be higlighted very nicely by the chrome inner. Additionally, the satin face won't reflect as much light and will complement your paint job.

out of those 2 I pick full polished since you have no satin bright work on your car. Like if you had a silver car the centers would look bad in silver with a polished lip. Anyway I think you should do what makes you happy
here are some pics I found on the internet and to my surprise I think another forum member already has these wheels. Funny how I did not recognize them beforehand...
I am surprised by the poll thus far that 75% think I should go fully polished. In some pics above it looks to be too shiny (too much bling) but at times I do like it. I guess it depends on my mood for the moment. I am very seriously leaning more towards the satin finish which I think is the same as on the yellow vette which I swear I have seen here on the forum.
For me the question would be long term maintenance. If you get a scratch or if the wheels dull over time which one would be the easiest to maintain. My answer would be the fully polished since you can polish away any scratches or dullness. With the satin you're stuck with what you get.
I agree with vettfixr. God forbid you get something on the wheel that doesn't come clean easy and you change the surface of the satin while cleaning it. Then it would look splotchy. I think the polished look will blend with the car better anyway.

Ok the Camaro looks nice but please put the correct bumper on it for christ sake.Oh I guess I like the first one.
The satin wheels have a clear powder coat over them, so cleaning them wont effect the satin finish.
I ordered mine satin, great look, I only changed the center color becuase I wanted a more "vintage" feel to them and the two tone silver effect runs through my fender gill trim and my coated/stainless sidepipes.
Thanks for your suggestions....I have pulled the trigger and went with the Satin finish against the majority votes big time. I just feel the 100% polished wheel will be a tad too much bling bling and so my wheels will look exactly like those on the yellow C3 that is pictured. I do have one change to make in that the fronts are going from 17x8 to 18x8 as I want to remain the same tire diameter front vs. rear and the 245/45/17 are not the same as 270/40/18....but 245/45/18 are the same as the rear so I switched at the last minute to 18x8 in the front.
Thanks to all for your comments, etc. Funny how I am going against the general vote by a huge margin...but what the hell and why not be different

you made the right choice imo. BUT....... i woulda gone with 17's all the way around. hey, difrn't strokes difrn't folks!
Guess what arrived today???? Yep...my new wheels & tires. They look great and are not heavy even with the tires mounted the rear 18x10 with 275/40/18 mounted on them weigh 27.4lbs. I will mount them this weekend and post pics after I polish/wax? them....
what kind of polish/wax should I use? They are only this clean once so I would like to use a wax/polish that will keep them looking very good for a long time and easier to clean. Would a traditional metal paste/cream polish work or do I need to look at the paint finish type of wax/polish?
