Gutted the interior.
A little rust on the frame around the windshield.
Driver's side gutted.
Right side gutted.
The interior was originally silver and the schmo previous owner did such a bang up job on changing it to red he "forgot" to dye the bottom of the door panels.
One of several piles...
My brother likes red interior but it's just too much for me. I'm thinking black.
When I went in to strip it down a few weeks ago, I was just going to get the old out and the new in but...now we've decided to do a complete body off refurb.
I'm a little bummed out that I won't be driving it all summer like I'd hoped but I know it will be totally worth it next spring when it's completely redone. I'm a little nervous that I might find a heartbreaking suprise(rust holes in the frame) but overall, I'm really excited and looking forward to experiencing the whole process. It doesn't hurt that we also have a Harley and a couple of offroad trail trucks to keep us preoccupied.
